Pursuit of Experience Strategy
Phase 1: The Goal — Guardian Stones & Artifact XP
Focus on hunting Runic Squads to earn Guardian Stones. This is the single best tournament for leveling up your Artifacts.
Guardian StonesThe "currency" of the event. They are tracked in the tournament window rather than your inventory.
Artifact XPThe primary reward. Milestones provide massive amounts of Artifact Experience for leveling up Captains' Artifacts.
Phase 2: Finding and Fighting Runic Squads
IdentificationRunic Squads look like regular monster groups but feature a distinct blue/purple runic glow.
Level ScalingLevels 1 to 35. Higher levels give more Guardian Stones and Captain experience.
Composition & CostBalanced "Ancient" troops. G4 Archer/Rider stacks are highly effective. Attacks cost Hero Energy.
Phase 3: The "Artifact Power-Up" Strategy
Save Your XP ItemsSave Artifact XP items throughout the month and only use them during this tournament to hit "spend" milestones.
Focus Your CaptainsLevel up Captains close to breakthroughs (Level 50 or 100), as Runic Squads offer higher XP than normal monsters.
Phase 4: Clan Rewards
Clan MilestonesCollective collection unlocks "Artifact Chests" for everyone, containing Fragments used to upgrade Artifact Star Levels.
CoordinationShare coordinates for high-level Runic Squads (Level 25+). They are limited and essential for fast progress.
Summary Checklist
Energy ManagementSave potions specifically for this event; Runic Squads are a much better investment than standard monsters.
Use Captain CarterJust like in Beastslayer, use Carter to reduce the energy cost of every attack.
Upgrade ImmediatelyApply earned Artifact XP to your primary combat Artifacts to strengthen your subsequent hits.
Check the MapIf local Runic Squads are depleted, teleport to a less crowded area to continue farming efficiently.
