Doomsday Strategy

Phase 1: The Goal — High-Efficiency Valor Farming

Doomsday is a premier event for earning Valor points for research and Experience points to level up Captains.

Expect the LossAccept that all guardsmen in your march will likely die. The goal is killing monsters in the epic squad to trigger high Valor rewards, not necessarily "winning" the battle.
Point GenerationValor and Experience are directly tied to the number of monsters killed. If your attack kills zero monsters, you receive zero points.
Personal GoalsRewards and difficulty scale automatically based on your current troop level.

Phase 2: Tournament Strategy — Single Captain Focus

Leveling CaptainsIdeal time to level up lower-level Captains (e.g., getting them to level 100) as they require fewer troops but gain massive Experience.
Maximize Carry CapacityChoose the Captain with the largest leadership to ensure your stack has enough power to kill at least one monster per hit.
Activate BonusesAlways activate Double Valor and Army Health bonuses from your inventory before every attack to multiply results.

Phase 3: Stacking for Doomsday

LayeringUse at least two or three layers of guardsmen (e.g., G2 and G3) to act as shields for your primary G4 damage dealers.
The 1.8x RuleEnsure each lower-tier "shield" stack has approximately 1.8 times the total health of the tier above it so the monster targets cheaper troops first.
Mercenary ProtectionPlace high-value Mercenaries and Monsters at the end of selection; they should only enter the fight after shields are exhausted.

Phase 4: Post-Battle Recovery

Selective RevivalDo not waste gold or high-value potions reviving standard guardsmen. Let them die in the Temple and rebuild using silver and speed-ups.
Prioritize MercsOnly use potions or gold to revive Mercenaries, Monsters, and Captains, as these are much harder to replace.
Continuous ResearchImmediately use the Valor earned from Doomsday hits to start the next level of guardsmen research in your Academy.
